AN APPROACH INFORMED BY HER OWN EXPERIENCE
Julie's credits her success to insights gained during her own search and sale of several properties in Connecticut and New York. Like many of her clients, Julie and her husband Bill worked full-time building careers in Manhattan and hired real estate agents to handle the day-to-day requirements of their sales and searches.
When it came to selling their properties, they often found themselves uncomfortable with the level of effort put in to selling their home, feeling there was a lack of creativity and commitment engaged in the marketing of their properties.
Throughout their search for a property in Litchfield County Bill and Julie struggled to find one agent with the initiative, intuition, and stamina to support their search. Many of the agents they interacted with came across as cavalier and at times, pushy.
This got Julie thinking about the unmet needs of sellers and buyers and how the skills developed in her career as SVP, Managing Director of Client Leadership on "Madison Ave" could be applied to real estate. In 2014, Julie retired from that agency and embarked on her mission to deliver an elevated level of service in the real estate category by becoming licensed in Connecticut and New York and joining the most well-defined brand in real estate - William Pitt Sotheby's International Realty.
